Our Story

I never planned to build a technology company.

I simply couldn't ignore the problem.

After more than 30 years in the dance world, as a dancer, studio teacher, choreographer, adjudicator, and former Division IA Head Dance Coach, I experienced the college dance journey from nearly every perspective. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of coaching dancers who have gone on to perform with the LA Lakers, Radio City Rockettes, Denver Broncos Cheerleaders, Denver Nuggets Dancers, Raiderettes, and collegiate dance programs across the country. Those experiences gave me a unique understanding of what it takes to pursue opportunities at every level.

The more experience I gained, the more one thing became clear: incredible talent was everywhere, but access to information, education, and opportunity was not.

I watched dancers struggle to gain visibility beyond their local communities. Families searched countless websites and social media accounts trying to understand a recruiting process with no clear roadmap. Coaches were expected to recruit, mentor, choreograph, travel, fundraise, and lead their programs, often with limited time, resources, and support.

The recruiting process wasn't broken because people weren't working hard.

It was broken because the right tools didn't exist.

That realization became the foundation for Studio 2 Stadium.

I stepped away from collegiate coaching because I believed I could make an even greater impact by building the platform I wished had existed throughout my career. A place where dancers could confidently showcase who they are, coaches could recruit more efficiently, and families could navigate the journey with greater clarity. A platform built on transparency, education, connection, and opportunity.

Today, Studio 2 Stadium is helping modernize collegiate dance recruiting by making it more connected, accessible, and equitable for dancers, families, coaches, and organizations across the country. As Studio 2 Stadium continues to grow, our mission remains unchanged: to ensure every dancer, coach, and family has access to the opportunities, support, and information they deserve.

Because talent has never been the problem. Opportunity has.

Turning an idea into reality required more than passion, it required a shared belief that dance deserved better.

Without a technical background, I partnered with the University of Colorado's Computer Science and Engineering Capstone Program to begin building what would become Studio 2 Stadium. What started as a senior design project quickly grew into something much bigger, bringing together developers, designers, industry professionals, and members of the dance community who believed in creating a better future for collegiate dance.

Every stage of Studio 2 Stadium's growth has been shaped by collaboration and feedback from the people it was built to serve. Dancers, coaches, families, event organizers, and technology professionals have all played a role in helping refine the platform into what it is today.

As Studio 2 Stadium has grown, so has its vision. What began as a recruiting platform has evolved into a comprehensive technology ecosystem supporting collegiate dance through recruiting tools, educational resources, event technology, and meaningful connections across the community.

We're proud of how far we've come but we're even more excited about where we're headed.
